TRS chief and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao met Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata last week

The TMC leader said that the BJP has lost all credibility and there is an anti-BJP wave in the country.

"Yes I have met people in the Shiv Sena because there is no party more communal than the BJP".

"We want all opposition parties to work together".

Pawar had earlier in the day denied that a meeting over dinner with opposition parties was scheduled tonight.

In the larger political scenario vis-a-vis formation of a new front.the game has turned more exciting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu deciding to quit the BJP-led NDA.

Asked if other leaders agreed with her, she suggested that everyone agreed that this is how the opposition should go about prepping for the 2019 elections to minimise the division of anti-BJP votes.

Banerjee visited Parliament on Tuesday where she met Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar.

The ruling and the opposition parties were seen to carry out several processions in different parts of the state on the occasion of the birthday of Lord Rama. It should be a one-to-one fight against the BJP. We should help the strongest opposition party in the state to fight the BJP. "Will certainly go if they (Mayawati-Akhilesh Yadav) call us for a meeting to Lucknow".

Raut denied that Shiv Sena was joining any front, but said that the Shiv Sena and Banerjee have "a very warm" relationship and there were certain things which Banerjee wanted to convey to Uddhav Thackeray.

"I sent Dinesh da (Trivedi) to the Congress office but she had left by then". "At least it does not do politics with a gun in their hand".

In her interaction with DMK MP Kanimozhi, Mamata Banerjee said that she is confident that the "DMK is coming to power" and the party has her support.

Banerjee is likely to meet Sonia Gandhi during her Delhi visit.

Yes, Sonia ji is unwell right now and recovering, will meet her once she is fine.Tomorrow will meet Shatrughan Sinha ji, Yashwant Sinha ji, and Arun Shourie ji. Replying to a query, Banerjee said she has been exchanging messages with Rahul Gandhi According to a senior NCP leader, Banerjee favoured forming a "federal front" to defeat the BJP without involving the Congress.

Hectic parleys are underway and Mamata Banerjee seems to be at the center of a grand plan to stitch an "anti-BJP" front ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The Bengal CM took to her Twitter account and hit out at BJP's Amit Malviya, who had announced the election dates even before the Election Commission of India.

Hitting out at the BJP over the unrest in the state, Banerjee said, "There is only party in the state which is creating such problem".
