I don't really play mobile games all that often anymore, but I can already tell I'm going to be playing Fortnite on mobile for a long time, even if it's just on trips to the toilet. Sadly, it's a limited time event, so the game mode is available for a specific time.

A quick look at the responses to the Epic Games comment shows that many players appear to be in agreement with the default mode change, though several emphasized that the increase should be a "slight" one as mentioned to avoid having massive fortresses available on demand.

The best part is that one actually gets to try on some fancy weapons in the game and they obviously are game's rarest and best guns. Epic Games only recently announced the invite-only event for testing out Battle Royale on iOS devices with the first round of invitations being sent out just at the end of last week.

The closest mobile game competitors, Knives Out and Rules of Survival, made three times less in the same period of time.

Specifically, Epic is reducing floor loot resources from 100 to 60. The reason for the change is that Epic believes "our initial resource numbers were a bit too abundant, and are making this adjustment to ensure there is still some risk/reward when farming in Blitz".

We will continue to monitor this, please keep giving us your feedback!

According to a Polygon interview with Ben Lewis-Evans, a user experience lead researcher at Epic Games, Fortnite launched with friendly fire enabled, a decision which was quickly walked back after players reported they were being killed by their own teammates for the items they carried.
