Writing on Twitter, Tina Anton said: "Just had a tremor as in natural disaster in Cornwall!"

The strongest natural disaster in the past 10 years was a 5.2-magnitude quake that was felt in much of Britain on February 27, 2008.

Speaking to the Post, Lancashire Police's on call Force Incident Manager said that they have received no calls as of yet regarding the tremor. The EMSC urged people not to call the emergency services simply to report the natural disaster.
