Brittney Gargol right with her accused killer Cheyenne Antoine in

The body of the Canadian teenager was discovered early in the morning of March 25.

Importantly, beside Gargol's body lay a belt - evidence that would later be the incriminating evidence that would crack the case.

Antoine apologized for her crimes in a statement read by Watson.

After the killing - in an apparent attempt to avoid suspicion - Antoine reportedly took to her victim's Facebook wall, posting: "Where are you?" According to Antoine, Gargol left with a unusual man, while Antoine went to see her uncle.

A person had approached the Gargol family to tell them about an alcohol-fueled rant that included Antoine's confession that she had a fight with Gargol and choked her, the Saskatoon Star Phoenix reported. The victim made the photo, seen below, her profile picture shortly before she died. "No doubt this young women has issues.and because of those issues she is unsafe". The incident that happened two years ago was finally resolved by the police. In the picture, Antoine is wearing the belt that was used to murder her friends. She threatened the officer with a needle that she claimed was contaminated with the HIV virus.

According to BBC, Antoine has pleaded guilty and been given 7 years in prison for manslaughter.

A preliminary hearing for the second-degree murder offense was scheduled for next week, but instead, Antoine reached an agreement involving her pleading guilty to the lesser offense of manslaughter. The judge showed some leniency, pointing to Antoine's life of abuse in the foster care system and her apparent remorse. She also allegedly told authorities Gargol went home with an unidentified man after they spent most of the night barhopping.

Brittney Gargol was 18 when she was murdered in Canada. She told the court she was very sorry and would "never forgive myself".

She said they had got drunk and into a heated argument. "It shouldn't have ever happened", she said adding that she had no way to explain why she did it.

At the time of her arrest for murder, Antoine was also awaiting sentencing for threatening a store's loss prevention officer when she was caught stealing, CBC News reported.

In one instance, CT police used multiple segments of data to bring in Richard Dabate for the alleged 2015 murder of his wife, Connie.
