And the 53.6 Wh internal battery can rapidly charge the docked phone to full capacity over three times while away from AC power.

It comprises a backlit keyboard, with Razer Chroma coloured LEDs, and a 13.3-inch 120Hz Quad HD display. Users can dock their Razer Android device inside the laptop chassis where a touchpad would normally reside and connects to the device with a single button. The device is essentially a 13.3-inch laptop that somewhat follows Nintendo's playbook with the Switch dock; instead of a tablet, users dock their Razer Phone into the Project Linda laptop for Android-powered gaming.

Razer, just like other smartphone manufacturers, can see how much humanity depends on their smartphones. You also get pristine sound quality because the speakers on the Razer Phone are firing upwards. "The 5.7" touchscreen of the Razer Phone can function as a touchpad, or as an interactive second touch display for custom interfaces or additional apps. We were told that the Linda UI was being built based on CentOS which means that plugging the Razer Phone in launches a full desktop experience. Naturally, this dock has been designed exclusively with the Razer Phone in mind, though support for other phones is possible according to the company. The company revealed its Project Linda concept today at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Seeing as it offers offline storage, a powerbank, a keyboard and laptop screen, I can't foresee this being a cheap product, not that Razer produces low-priced devices anyway. It also has 200GB storage for saving games, content, etc. Razer has included a 3.5-mm audio jack, a USB-A port, a USB-C charging port, 720p webcam, and a dual-array microphone on this device.

When Razer announced their introduction into the mobile market, it was an impressive debut to the surprise of many. Hopefully it'll spur other manufacturers to start thinking about their phones in a similar way, especially as - for a lot of people - a smartphone is their only connection to the internet.
