On Saturday afternoon, wind gusts between 30-40 miles per hour are likely so blowing and drifting snow are also possible creating some visibility issues at times.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY is in effect tonight thru Friday morning due to wind chills potentially dropping down below 0°.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Saturday from 3 a.m.to 10 a.m. Winds are light out of the west at 2-7MPH.


Richmond will likely set a new record low Sunday morning.

Very cold air and gusty winds will create risky wind-chill temperatures into the night and through Friday. The warm will come with another storm system that will bring more snow into Sunday night. The frigid cold blast finally comes to an end Monday when high temperatures are expected to reach above the freezing mark.

We may see a wintry mix of snow and sleet on Monday, with a 50 percent chance of precipitation and temperatures hovering around 32 degrees.


Lows will fall into the low teens overnight into Saturday morning under clear skies.
