Congress lost Gujarat elections due to Indiscipline irrelevant comments accept party members

As newly elected Congress president Rahul Gandhi chaired his first Congress Working Committee meeting on Friday, he set the tone for an aggressive campaign against the "Modi model" that will be at the heart of the party's agenda in the run-up to the 2019 elections. Congress has said the verdict of the court vindicates its stand that there were no irregularities in the allocation of 2G spectrum during the UPA rule at the Centre. The Congress has said it will take the 2G issue to the people.

He said, "It also emerges that those people, especially the BJP, which used this "architecture of untruth" in order to wipe out Parliament session after Parliament session, in order to create an entire campaign of lies across the country, they need to apologise".

Why is Prime Minister Narendra Modi silent on allegations relating to Rafale deal, asks Rahul Gandhi after CWC meet. "Our Prime Minister has nothing to say about it", he said. "Narendra Modi's Gujarat model is also a lie". He termed the Gujarat campaign as "unique" and "a real eye-opener" for him, where he got to know how the BJP designs campaigns and "uses hatred and untruth" to fight elections. And then we also saw how in their desperation, the Prime Minister himself accused Dr Manmohan Singh of complete blatant falsehood and a lie.

The Congress got its highest number of seats in Gujarat assembly polls in the last 27 years but party lost power in Himachal Pradesh. "Should Modi, Arun Jaitley and other BJP leaders be not held accountable for conspiring with Vinod Rai to malign the Congress?"

"If BJP had a film franchise it would be called Lie Hard", he said on Twitter, while rhyming it with Hollywood action blockbuster "Die Hard". "Now they should not blame us", he said.
