The Age of Heroes has come again as a new TV spot for Justice League tells

To drive home the point, Gadot chose to pull out of a dinner last month, during which she was expected to present an award to Ratner for his achievements in film.

'They can't have a movie rooted in women's empowerment being part-financed by a man accused of sexual misconduct against women'.

"She's tough and stands by her principles", a source told Page Six.

Wonder Woman was the highest-grossing movie of the summer stateside with $412.6 million. "He looked at a woman standing next to me, ten years my senior and pointed to me and said: "You should f-ck her to make her realise she's gay".

Gadot has taken up a crusade against Ratner, who denies the allegations.

"She also knows that Warner Bros. has to side with her on this issue as it develops", a source told Page Six.

After the LA Times's report on Ratner was published, Warner Bros. announced it was severing ties with him and RatPac-Dune Entertainment, but it's now unclear how that might affect the Wonder Woman sequel, or what kind of deal is already in place.

According to Page Six, Gadot is refusing to sign on for another Wonder Woman solo film unless Ratner and his company are completely cut out of the franchise financially.

That's a win for fans, who get to see the movie over a month earlier now, and a win for Warner Bros., who will have more time to shine at the box office before Star Wars: Episode IX comes out.

In this file photo from April 26, 2017, Brett Ratner arrives at the Wolfgang Puck's Post-Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ceremony Celebration in Beverly Hills, California.

The studio reportedly won't be renewing that deal, but if this PageSix report is true, Gadot is putting her foot down and forcing WB to either find a new investment partner for Wonder Woman 2 or shoulder the entire cost of the film themselves.

Undoubtedly pleased with the response they received with their release of the "Wonder Woman" movie, Warner Bros. has announced that they will be bumping up the release date for the sequel, tentatively titled "Wonder Woman 2".
