Tom Cruise's Ex Katie Holmes Holding Hands Jamie Foxx on The Beach

Katie Holmes & Jamie Foxx Seen Holding Hands in Public, Finally!

Katie Holmes

The rumours of Holmes and Foxx's flourishing relationship first came to light a year after Holmes broke off her five year marriage with Cruise.

Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri looked to be having a cute mommy and me lunch on Wednesday.

The happy couple couldn't contain their passion for one another as they held hands and frolicked on a beach in Malibu in pictures obtained by MailOnline.

The Daily Mail, citing a report from Radar Online, says that Holmes may have had to keep her relationship with Foxx secret because her divorce settlement with Cruise included a clause banning her from publicly dating for five years.

Now, it is a big question why after all these years, Holmes and Foxx just revealed their relationship now.

On its website, ET reported that "during the romantic outing, the two strolled barefoot in the sand with Holmes, 38, wearing a blue printed dress and shades while Foxx, 49, sported a navy T-shirt and sweatpants".

Adding further fuel to the fire, Jamie's pal Claudia Jordan - who starred on The Real Housewives of Atlanta - seemingly confirmed their relationship a year ago. He is very happy with [Katie]. They were first spotted together at a charity party in the Hamptons, but also had to fend off questions from the media, labelling the claims "100 percent not true".

Cruise starred alongside Foxx in the 2004 thriller Collateral. On the other hand, even though we all knew they were dating, they couldn't appear together and show each other love and support. They seemed to really appreciate every moment together because Jamie did not leave her side.

In April, the pair-in-secret were seen enjoying a dinner together again in NYC.

If this five-year dating ban is true, then it would have ended June 2017, making it the flawless time to go public.
